At Hyde-Addison, we are grateful for the care and support our families invest in our community.

We value our parents and families as partners in ensuring each and every child is provided with opportunities to learn and flourish in their own, unique way. The generosity of our parents and community comes in many forms. Some contribute by helping out in the classroom. Others by being a friendly presence on a field trip. And others in more formal roles through the Local School Advisory Team (LSAT).

The LSAT is an elected body representing faculty, staff, parents, and the community. It designs and helps to implement the Local School Plan, which provides an operating structure for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating major school-based policies and practices. The LSAT also serves as a mechanism for implementing practices to ensure a student-centered environment, helps to plan the school’s annual operating budget, and acts as an advisory panel to the principal.

LSAT meetings occur from 4:00-5:00pm on the first Tuesday of each month.
