THE GREAT ENVELOPE RACE - submit by November 6
The 4th annual ӡGreat Envelope Raceӱ is a fundraising effort that last year drew over 332 participants and raised over $18,000 to support our school. This yearӮs effort, with the theme of ӡ110 years and counting,ӱ will include class prizes -- a cooking class (First), a gardening-related workshop (Second) and a popsicle party (Third).
The PTA will spend over $500 per child by the end of this year and the recommended early donation is $300 per child will help. Still, every donation of at least $1 counts, and we are aiming for 100% participation. Please provide your donation to your child's teacher or to the front office and email email@example.com if you make an online donation using this link: https://www.paypal.me/hydeaddison.
This year contributions will help to pay for school programming, professional development, books for classrooms and the school library, school beautification, curricular enhancements and technology upgrades. Also, your support will help us subsidize the PTAӮs scholarship fund (a fund that covers student activity fees, books and enrichment programs for Hyde students in need). We believe that giving to this effort epitomizes the Hyde-Addison philosophy of ӡEmpowering children to lead meaningful and purposeful lives. Finally, your generous tax-deductible gift will fund needed programs and opportunities for children in our school community.
