String Enrichment Class with Ms. Christine Kharazian
Many of you mayremember Ms. Christine Kharazian from Fillmore Arts Center where she has been teaching strings for many years. She is very excited about the interest to establish a string program at Hyde-Addison ES.
This string program is an opportunity to learn or continue to play a string instrument and foster enjoyment for playing and performing in an ensemble. To make the class most effective she would like to limit the beginners to violin and viola. Cellists are welcome if they have some experience. The program will culminate with a performance for parents and school.
Nut Free Food Reminder
An important reminder that we are a nut-free school, due to life-threatening allergies of some students. Please consider alternatives to peanut butter, such as soy nut butter, for sandwiches.
No Roller Shoes
Please do not send your child to school wearing roller shoes, as they can be unsafe.
Please sign up to receive the PTA’s newsletter as well as you student’s classroom newsletter here.
